Cement Plant Inaugurated in Etah to Boost Industrial Growth in Uttar Pradesh

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath inaugurated a new cement plant in Etah district, terming it a significant step towards the state’s industrial and economic expansion.

At the event, the Chief Minister emphasised the government’s focus on strengthening law and order and creating a business-friendly environment, which he said has been instrumental in attracting large-scale investment to the state.

He highlighted that Etah, which was once known for law and order challenges, is now seeing industrial projects such as the newly inaugurated cement plant and the nearby Jawaharpur thermal power project, both of which are expected to generate employment and support regional growth.

The Chief Minister said the state government remains committed to developing infrastructure and promoting job creation through industrialisation. He also underlined that Uttar Pradesh has improved its position among Indian states in terms of development and economic strength, reflecting policy continuity between the state and central governments.

The inauguration of the cement plant is seen as part of a broader industrial push aimed at boosting investment, modernising infrastructure, and creating long-term economic opportunities for local communities.
