Shyam Metalics Forays into Crash Barrier Manufacturing

Shyam Metalics has entered the crash barrier segment with a new facility in Giridih and plans another in Sambalpur, aiming for an 8–10 per cent market share by FY26.

The Giridih plant, with an annual capacity of 24,000 tonnes, has commenced production. The Sambalpur facility, to serve southern and western India, will have a capacity of 60 KTPA, backed by an investment of Rs 500 million.

Shyam Metalics, an integrated metals company, produces long steel products, ferro alloys, aluminium, and stainless steel.
