Highway Infrastructure Secures Rs 880 Million Contracts With NHAI

Highway Infrastructure (HIL) has signed two contracts with the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI), collectively valued at over Rs 880 million.
Both agreements, finalised on 10 September 2025, cover toll fee collection and maintenance of public facilities along key highway corridors in Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh.
The first contract involves operating a 4-lane Greenfield Expressway spur linking the Delhi-Vadodara Greenfield Expressway near Bandikui to Jaipur, Rajasthan. Awarded under the Hybrid Annuity Model, the project also includes upkeep of adjacent toilet blocks and consumables. The contract is valued at Rs 190 million and is expected to be completed within 90 days.
The second contract covers toll fee collection at the Muzaina Hetim fee plaza on Km 361.902 of the Gorakhpur-Kasia UP/Bihar Border section of National Highway-28 in Uttar Pradesh. This agreement includes maintenance of nearby toilet facilities and replenishment of consumables. Valued at Rs 698 million, the project is slated for 365 days of execution.
HIL confirmed that neither its promoters nor related entities have any interest in the awarding authority, and both contracts do not qualify as related party transactions under regulatory norms.
Based in Madhya Pradesh, HIL operates across toll collection, EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) projects, and real estate. The company has completed 27 tollway projects, currently operating four, utilising advanced ETC (Electronic Toll Collection) and ANPR (Automatic Number Plate Recognition) systems. Its EPC division has delivered over 66 projects in roads, bridges, and irrigation under government schemes including PMAY and PMGSY, while the real estate arm expands in Indore with residential and integrated township projects.
In FY25, toll collection contributed over 77 per cent of HIL’s revenue. As of 31 May 2025, the company’s order book stood at Rs 6.66 billion. The stock rose 0.39 per cent to Rs 88.37 on the BSE.
