BHEL Secures EPC Orders Worth Rs 130–150 Bn from MPPGCL

Bharat Heavy Electricals (BHEL) has secured two major orders from MP Power Generating Company (MPPGCL) for the Amarkantak and Satpura supercritical thermal power projects, valued between Rs 130–150 billion (excluding taxes and duties).

The notifications of award (NoA) cover EPC packages for 1x660 MW Amarkantak Unit 6 and 1x660 MW Satpura Unit 12. The scope of work includes the supply of equipment, civil construction, erection, and commissioning of the plants.

BHEL will execute the projects with a completion schedule of 57 months from the date of the award for each unit. The orders reinforce BHEL’s leadership in delivering large-scale thermal power projects and its continued contribution to India’s energy infrastructure.
