DRA Homes Buys Chembarambakkam Land, Targets Rs 6,500 Million Sales

Chennai-based real estate company, DRA Homes has purchased 4.38 acres of prime land in Chembarambakkam, located along the Chennai–Bengaluru highway, for Rs 500 million, inclusive of stamp duty. The fully developed project is expected to yield Rs 650 crore in sales potential, according to a release.

The Chennai–Bengaluru highway is swiftly emerging as a key national corridor, attracting growing interest from professionals, businesses, and investors beyond Tamil Nadu and Karnataka. Its improved connectivity, closeness to the upcoming Parandur International Airport, established industrial hubs such as Sriperumbudur and Poonamallee, and proposed metro extensions have boosted its appeal among buyers nationwide.

Spanning nearly one million square feet, the development will comprise well-planned mid-segment homes along with managed residential services catering to flexible short-term stays. The hybrid model is designed to meet the needs of both long-term homeowners and business travellers, offering convenience, adaptability, and promising investment value.
