Techi Kaso inaugurates new road and school block in Itanagar
In a bid to strengthen urban infrastructure and education in the state capital, Itanagar MLA and Advisor to the Minister for Urban Affairs, Techi Kaso, on 4 November laid the foundation stone for a key link road from Circuit House to Punjabi Dhaba and inaugurated a newly built classroom block at the Government Upper Primary School (GUPS), C-Sector, Itanagar.
Both projects, located in Ward No. 10, were inaugurated in the presence of Itanagar Municipal Corporation (IMC) Corporator Yukar Yaro, DC ICR Toko Babu, ward members, local residents, and students.
Speaking at the event, MLA Kaso described the link road project as a “long-cherished dream” of the residents, noting that the new road would ease traffic congestion and improve local connectivity.
At the second event, Kaso inaugurated the new classroom building at GUPS, C-Sector, reaffirming his commitment to strengthening educational infrastructure in Itanagar. The ceremony witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, teachers, and community members, who expressed their appreciation for the development initiatives.
Corporator Yukar Yaro and DC Toko Babu commended Kaso’s continued efforts to address local development needs and highlighted the administration’s focus on enhancing civic amenities and education standards across the capital region.
