INOXAP to Supply UHP Nitrogen for Grew Energy’s MP Solar Facility
2025-11-14
INOX Air Products (INOXAP), India’s leading industrial, electronic, and specialty gases manufacturer, has signed a long-term agreement with Grew Energy to supply ultra-high purity (UHP) nitrogen for Grew Energy’s upcoming 3 GW Solar PV Cell manufacturing facility in Narmadapuram, Madhya Pradesh. As part of the partnership, INOXAP will make significant investments to build a dedicated pipeline network from its existing Air Separation Unit (ASU) in Narmadapuram, ensuring uninterrupted, round-the-clock gas supply.
The UHP nitrogen will support the stringent precision requirements of photovoltaic solar cell manufacturing. The collaboration underscores the shared commitment of both companies toward strengthening India’s clean energy manufacturing ecosystem. The facility is scheduled to commence operations in early 2026, aligned with Grew Energy’s project timeline.
Commenting on the partnership, Diganta Sarma, Head – Strategy & Business Development, INOX Air Products, said, “We’re proud to partner with Grew Energy in shaping India’s renewable energy journey. This long-term agreement is a major milestone in bolstering India’s solar manufacturing ecosystem by ensuring a reliable and sustainable supply of high-purity industrial gases. Such collaborations not only drive nationwide development but also contribute to regional industrial growth. As India advances toward its Atmanirbhar Bharat and Make-in-India goals, partnerships like this highlight how industry alliances can foster innovation, sustainability, and self-reliance.”
Nirmal Jain, Vice President – Engineering & Projects, Grew Energy, added, “At Grew Energy, our vision is to make India a global hub for Solar PV cell manufacturing, and strong partnerships are key to this mission. Having INOX Air Products as our gas supply partner reinforces our confidence in achieving this goal. Together, we are creating value for stakeholders while contributing to a cleaner and more energy-secure India.”
This agreement strengthens INOX Air Products’ growing role in enabling high-tech sectors such as solar, semiconductors, and electronics. With several major collaborations in the solar space over the past year, the company has reinforced its position as a crucial partner in India’s rapidly expanding renewable energy manufacturing industry.
