Blue Dart Wins Golden Peacock Award for Governance Excellence

Blue Dart, South Asia’s leading express air and integrated transportation company, has received the Golden Peacock Award for Excellence in Corporate Governance 2025 from the Institute of Directors (IOD), India. The honour was presented during IOD India’s 2025 Annual London Global Convention on Corporate Governance and Sustainability – Global Business Meet.

The recognition reflects Blue Dart’s sustained efforts to strengthen its governance framework and embed the principles of transparency, accountability and ethical conduct across its operations. The company’s robust legal and compliance architecture, led by Tushar Gunderia, Head – Legal and Compliance and Company Secretary, has played a central role in aligning governance practices with an evolving regulatory environment while safeguarding stakeholder interests.

The award ceremony was attended by prominent dignitaries including N. Chandrababu Naidu, Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh; Sir Chris Bryant, Minister of State at the UK Department for Business and Trade; Vikram Doraiswami, Indian High Commissioner to the United Kingdom; Chanchal Kumar, Secretary, Ministry of Development of North Eastern Region; and Baroness Verma, Global Chair of the Advisory Council of the Institute of Directors, India.
