CCI Clears Jindal Jhajjar’s 100% Acquisition of Jhajjar Power

The Competition Commission of India has approved the proposed acquisition of the entire shareholding of Jhajjar Power Limited by Jindal Jhajjar Power Limited. The transaction forms part of a broader consolidation, with the Acquirer set to obtain 100 per cent ownership of the Target company.

Jindal Jhajjar Power Limited is a wholly owned subsidiary of Jindal Power Limited, which is engaged in power generation, including thermal power. Jhajjar Power Limited is also active in the thermal power segment.

A detailed order from the Commission will be issued separately.
