ABB India, Deloitte Form Alliance to Drive Digital Manufacturing

ABB India and Deloitte India have formed a strategic alliance to support Indian enterprises in accelerating their digital transformation across the manufacturing value chain. The collaboration aims to prepare industries for an AI-enabled, autonomous and cyber-secure future, helping them balance productivity, sustainability and resilience amid rapid digital disruption.
By integrating ABB India’s industrial automation portfolio—including the ABB Ability™ Genix Industrial Analytics and AI Suite—with Deloitte India’s strengths in business transformation and cybersecurity, the alliance will enable organisations to monitor operations in real time, improve production efficiency, strengthen cyber resilience and optimise energy consumption. Each deployment will be supported by robust cybersecurity safeguards to protect against emerging threats and ensure secure, future-ready operations.
Kapil Agarwal, Senior Vice President and Local Division Manager, Process Industries, ABB India, said the partnership combines ABB’s domain expertise and advanced technologies with Deloitte India’s proven capabilities in transformation and cybersecurity, helping build the digital foundations for India’s next phase of industrial growth.
Deepa Seshadri, Partner at Deloitte India, noted that true transformation requires embedding trust, security and sustainability into operations. She said the alliance will empower enterprises to use AI-driven intelligence, build secure connected ecosystems and achieve measurable performance improvements, enabling them to lead with confidence.
The partnership will help businesses enhance process performance through AI/ML-based predictive control, next-generation maintenance management and improved asset reliability. It will also embed operational excellence through advanced Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and Manufacturing Operations Management (MOM) systems. With integrated digital safeguards, enterprises can reduce energy use, waste and emissions to meet their sustainability goals and support India’s transition towards a smarter, greener and safer industrial ecosystem.
