JK Tyre Expands OTR Lineup with Four New Launches at EXCON 2025

JK Tyre & Industries, one of India’s leading tyre manufacturers, introduced four new Off-the-Road (OTR) tyres at the 13th edition of CII EXCON 2025, South Asia’s largest construction equipment exhibition, underway at the Bangalore International Exhibition Centre. The latest additions strengthen the company’s OTR portfolio and reaffirm its focus on delivering advanced mobility solutions for construction, mining and industrial operations.

The new tyres were unveiled by R Mukhopadhyay, Director (R&D), JK Tyre. Among the highlights was the debut of the SKY GRIP, a specialised tyre designed for Aerial Work Platforms (AWPs) and boom lifts used across infrastructure maintenance, construction, warehousing and industrial facilities. Offered in size 355/55D625, the SKY GRIP is engineered to deliver high stability, strong traction and dependable performance at elevated working heights. It is compatible with articulated and telescopic boom lifts, telehandlers and rough-terrain platforms, ensuring safer mobility across varied surfaces.

JK Tyre also rolled out three additional products for heavy-duty industrial and mining applications. The 14.00-25 GTL PLUS tyre has been designed for backhoe loaders, offering durability and reliable performance during frequent loading and excavation cycles. The 23.5-25 GTL PLUS variant caters to wheel loaders, delivering enhanced endurance and traction on challenging terrains. For underground mining, the 14.00-20 VEM AS-UG features a reinforced casing and specialised compound formulated to withstand abrasive conditions and the demanding duty cycles of shuttle cars.
