TIL Unveils Three Indigenous Lifts At EXCON 2025
TIL Limited, India’s material handling and infrastructure equipment manufacturer, has unveiled three fully indigenous products at EXCON 2025, the country’s flagship construction equipment exhibition held at the Bangalore International Exhibition Centre. The launches underscore TIL’s focus on engineering excellence, safety and Make in India manufacturing, as it positions itself as a comprehensive solutions provider for India’s infrastructure growth.
EXCON 2025 brings together more than 1,200 exhibitors and thousands of industry professionals, offering a platform for TIL to showcase its expanding portfolio and technology roadmap. The company’s participation follows steady operational momentum, with an order book exceeding Rs 2,000 million and a 12 per cent year-on-year rise in revenue to Rs 814.5 million in Q2 FY26.
The headline launch was the CarryKing 515, a fully patented pick-and-carry-on-deck crane developed to address modern job-site safety and productivity challenges. Powered by an Ashok Leyland H4C513022 engine delivering 130 hp, the crane has a top unladen speed of 26.5 kmph. It offers a 15-tonne pick-and-carry capacity at a 2.5-metre radius, along with a carry-on-deck capability of up to 6 tonnes. Key features include 360-degree continuous slew on tyres and outriggers, a four-section boom extending from 6.5 to 17 metres, and 4x4 drive with four-wheel steering for enhanced manoeuvrability. Equipped with a microprocessor-based multifunctional safety system, the CarryKing 515 is designed for shipyards, ports, construction sites, manufacturing units and power facilities, addressing safety gaps prevalent in the segment.
TIL also marked its re-entry into the truck crane segment with the launch of the TMS-885, an 85-tonne truck-mounted crane. Featuring a five-section full-power boom ranging from 12.1 to 43.8 metres and powered by a Cummins QSB6.7 engine delivering 260 hp, the crane has a top speed of 49 kmph. The model signals TIL’s intent to regain market share in a segment where it once held a dominant position, supported by its nationwide after-sales network.
The third launch was the RT RST-8, positioned as the world’s first rough-terrain empty container reachstacker. Developed for Indian operating conditions, the machine features 4x4 drive and four-wheel steering, handles up to four high-cube containers in the first row, and offers an 8-tonne lifting capacity with a lift height of 12.6 metres. Powered by a Cummins QSB6.7 engine delivering 173 hp, the RT RST-8 is designed for unpaved logistics yards, mining sites, inland container depots and port terminals, addressing a critical gap left by imported equipment.
Commenting on the launches, Sunil Kumar Chaturvedi, Chairman and Managing Director of TIL, said the products were engineered to meet customers’ evolving needs for safer, more efficient and versatile equipment. He added that the strong response to the CarryKing 515 reflects growing demand for uncompromising safety standards, and that TIL’s eight decades of expertise and expanding service network position it well to support India’s infrastructure and self-reliance goals.
Alok Tripathi, President of TIL, said the launches highlight the company’s deep understanding of customer challenges across construction, ports, logistics and industrial sectors. He noted that safety remains central to TIL’s renewed strategy, while the new truck crane and rough-terrain container handler address long-standing gaps in the domestic market.
Pinaki Niyogi, Chief Technology Officer and Chief Operating Officer, said the three products mark the start of a new phase for India’s material handling sector, combining indigenous design with global benchmarks and paving the way for further innovation under TIL’s ongoing R&D programmes.
TIL’s showcase at EXCON 2025 also highlighted its push towards IoT integration, telematics-based predictive maintenance and AI-driven analytics. Supported by advanced manufacturing facilities in Kamarhati and Kharagpur, the company continues to deliver globally compliant, cost-competitive equipment aligned with India’s expanding infrastructure investment cycle.
