Dev–N.ROSE Wins Mumbai Metro Line 2B Finishing Contract

Dev–N.ROSE (JV) has received a Letter of Acceptance from the Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) for the architectural finishing works of Mumbai Metro Line 2B, a 23.643-kilometre corridor running from DN Nagar to Mandale with 20 stations.

MMRDA had invited bids for the contract with a completion timeline of 450 days. Technical bids were opened on 19 June 2025, with five firms participating. Following technical evaluation on 5 August 2025, one bid was rejected. Financial bids for the technically qualified bidders were opened on the same day, and after financial evaluation, three bids were rejected. On 12 December 2025, Dev Engineers emerged as the lowest bidder and was awarded the LoA.

The financial bids submitted included Rs 2.014 billion by Dev–N.ROSE (JV), Rs 2.46 billion by Gawar Construction Limited, Rs 2.038 billion by Godrej and Boyce Manufacturing Company Limited, and Rs 2.504 billion by M/s Kumar Infra Projects Limited.

The scope of work covers architectural finishing works, including interior fit-outs, design and construction of external facades, water supply, sanitary installations and drainage systems for seven elevated stations on Metro Line 2B. These include three iconic elevated stations—ITO, ILFS and MTNL—and four other elevated stations at S G Barve Marg, Kurla East, EEH and Chembur, along the DN Nagar to Mandale corridor of the Mumbai Metro Rail Project.
