Atlas Copco Appoints Bhavin Pandya as India Compressor GM

Atlas Copco Group has appointed Bhavin Pandya as General Manager to lead its Compressor Technique Customer Center in India, reinforcing its leadership focus in the growing industrial market.
Commenting on the appointment, Thierry Monart, Managing Director, Atlas Copco (India) Pvt Ltd, said Pandya’s global leadership exposure and strong alignment with the company’s culture will support growth as India expands across industrial manufacturing segments.
Pandya began his career with Atlas Copco in 2004 and has held several senior roles, including Operations Manager for the Gas & Process Division, Head of Sourcing for product companies in Dapodi and Chakan, and General Manager of Industrial Technique in India.
In 2019, he moved to Prague, where he led Industrial Technique operations across Eastern Europe, overseeing 16 countries, and also served as Managing Director of the local entity. A mechanical engineer with an MBA from Nirma Institute of Management, Pandya brings over three decades of experience, including nine years in compressor application engineering, product marketing and service sales prior to joining Atlas Copco.
Speaking on his return, Pandya said India’s rapid transformation presents significant opportunities to deliver solutions focused on higher uptime, improved energy efficiency, lower carbon footprint and enhanced customer experience.
In his new role, Pandya will focus on strengthening customer relationships, expanding the product portfolio and building a future-ready organisation to drive the next phase of growth in the Indian market.
