Concord Control Systems has secured a ₹56.58 crore order from Indian Railways for the supply, installation and commissioning of locomotive wireless control systems. The contract has been awarded through the company’s wholly owned subsidiary, Advanced Rail Controls, and further strengthens its position in India’s railway safety and signalling ecosystem.
The order involves deployment of advanced wireless control technology aimed at enhancing real-time communication, operational coordination and overall safety in locomotive operations. With this addition, Concord’s total order book now stands at over ₹450 crore.
Commenting on the development, Gaurav Lath, Joint Managing Director, Concord Control Systems, said the order reinforces the company’s growing role in supporting Indian Railways’ modernisation agenda. He added that the project reflects the confidence placed in Concord’s indigenous technology capabilities and its commitment to delivering reliable, safety-critical systems.
The company continues to expand its presence across key railway modernisation initiatives. In addition to locomotive wireless control systems, Concord is also involved in the development of Kavach 4.0, India’s next-generation Automatic Train Protection system, through its investment in Progota India Private Limited.
The latest order further strengthens Concord’s positioning as a key technology partner for Indian Railways, supporting the transition towards safer, smarter and more resilient rail operations nationwide.
