Godrej expands Kerala footprint with exclusive home locker store in Kochi

Godrej Enterprises Group has expanded its footprint in Kerala with the launch of a new exclusive store in Kochi, strengthening its presence in one of India’s most important markets for home and institutional security solutions. The new outlet, located in Edappally, brings together the company’s complete portfolio of home lockers and advanced security systems under one roof.

The launch marks a strategic move as Kerala continues to witness strong demand for secure storage solutions, driven by rising gold ownership and heightened awareness around asset protection. The state remains a key market for Godrej, which currently commands nearly 80 per cent share of the home locker segment in Kerala.

The new store showcases an extensive range of residential lockers, including the NX Pro Plus, NX Pro Luxe and Matrix series, designed to offer enhanced protection, durability and capacity. It also features institutional and commercial security solutions such as high-security safes and vaults, including the Defender Aurum Pro Royal — India’s first BIS-certified Class E safe — along with gold testing solutions like AccuGold iEDX.

Speaking on the launch, Pushkar Gokhale, Business Head – Security Solutions, Godrej Enterprises Group, said the company sees strong growth potential in Kerala, driven by increasing awareness around asset protection and rising gold prices. He added that the new store enables customers to experience and understand advanced security solutions before making purchase decisions.

Godrej’s security solutions business currently operates across all 14 districts of Kerala through a network of exclusive stores, dealers and retail partners. With the home security market in the state growing at nearly 20 per cent annually, and institutional demand also rising steadily, the company plans to further expand its footprint across Kerala, particularly in Tier II and Tier III towns.
