Cupid Gets Board Nod For FMCG Plant In Saudi Arabia
Cupid Limited has received in-principle approval from its Board of Directors to set up a new fast-moving consumer goods manufacturing facility in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The proposed investment marks an important milestone in the company’s international expansion strategy and strengthens its global manufacturing footprint.
The proposed facility is aimed at supporting Cupid Limited’s FMCG growth strategy by strengthening its presence in overseas markets, beginning with the Gulf Cooperation Council region. Once operational, the plant is expected to enhance regional supply capabilities, shorten time-to-market and ensure improved product availability across Saudi Arabia and other GCC countries.
The project is proposed to be funded through the company’s internal accruals and will be taken forward after the completion of detailed evaluations and receipt of the necessary regulatory and statutory approvals.
By establishing a manufacturing base closer to key international markets, Cupid Limited aims to deepen its FMCG footprint globally while improving service efficiency and responsiveness across the region.
