DARPG Releases CPGRAMS Report for January 2026

The Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances (DARPG) released the Centralized Public Grievance Redress and Monitoring System (CPGRAMS) 42nd monthly report for States and Union Territories for January 2026. The report provided a detailed analysis of grievance types, disposal categories and state level performance across the portal. It noted that States and Union Territories received 71,714 public grievance cases in January and redressed 64,702 of them.

Uttar Pradesh recorded the highest number of disposals in January with 24,049 cases, followed by Gujarat with 6,065 disposals. As of 31 January 2026, the total pendency on the CPGRAMS portal stood at 178,674 cases and 22 States and Union Territories had more than 1,000 pending cases each. The report stated that a dedicated Review Module was operationalised from 6 June 2025 and a monthly review meeting under the chairmanship of the Additional Secretary, DARPG, was held on 29 January 2026.

During January, a total of 67,728 new users registered on CPGRAMS through various channels, including 11,172 registrations from Uttar Pradesh. The Feedback Call Centre collected 68,727 feedbacks in the month, of which 25,259 were received from States and Union Territories. The report highlighted that 13,605 grievances were filed through Common Service Centres, noting that CPGRAMS is integrated with the Common Service Centre (CSC) portal and is available at more than 0.5 million (mn) CSCs, associating with 0.25 mn Village Level Entrepreneurs (VLEs). Karnataka accounted for 61 per cent of grievances received via CSCs in January.

The report covered capacity building under the Sevottam Scheme, which recorded 1,034 training courses between financial years 2022–23 and 2025–26, training about 34,812 officers. It provided a year wise breakdown of training conducted and officers trained across the four financial years. The report and supporting data are available on the DARPG and CPGRAMS portals.
