TVS Mobility, PALFINGER Seal Rs 350 Crore India Pact

TVS Mobility Group has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with PALFINGER AG to provide integrated supply chain, dealership, aftermarket, rental and mobility solutions for the company’s India operations. As part of its Strategy 2030+, PALFINGER will invest Rs 350 crore in the first phase to establish a manufacturing facility in Pune by calendar year 2027. The partnership will support PALFINGER’s domestic and global market plans by enabling supply chain readiness, market access and lifecycle support through TVS Mobility Group’s integrated ecosystem.

Under the collaboration, capabilities across TVS Supply Chain Solutions, TVS Automobile Solutions and TVS Smart Mobility will be leveraged through separate contractual arrangements to deliver end-to-end logistics, dealership, aftermarket and mobility services.

Supply Chain and Logistics Support
TVS Supply Chain Solutions will anchor PALFINGER’s India supply chain as it expands its manufacturing footprint. The scope includes managing inbound logistics from Austria, FTWZ operations and integrated warehousing to ensure efficient material flow, operational continuity and scalable distribution.

Dealership and Mobility Solutions
TVS Smart Mobility will facilitate faster market entry through its dealership ecosystem of over 150 network points across India. The company will also enable structured Vehicle-on-Demand and mobility solutions to strengthen reach and deployment flexibility.

Aftermarket and Service Support
TVS Automobile Solutions will drive lifecycle support through its nationwide parts distribution and service infrastructure. The integration of aftermarket operations with the broader mobility network is expected to enhance service readiness, improve turnaround times and increase equipment uptime.

Defence Sector Exploration
The MoU also includes joint exploration of opportunities in the defence segment, combining PALFINGER’s specialised equipment technologies with TVS Mobility Group’s operational expertise.

R. Dinesh, Director, TVS Mobility Group, said the collaboration reinforces the Group’s position as an integrated mobility solutions provider supporting global equipment companies in India. Andreas Klauser, CEO, PALFINGER AG, stated that the partnership will expand the company’s footprint, strengthen parts availability and build a scalable platform for sustainable growth in the APAC region.
