Metropolis By MET City Gets LEED Platinum Pre-Certification

Metropolis by Reliance MET City in Haryana has become the first project in India to receive LEED Platinum Pre-Certification under the LEED for Cities: Plan and Design rating system, as confirmed by Green Business Certification Inc. (GBCI).

The LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) framework, developed by the U.S. Green Building Council, evaluates large-scale developments at the planning stage to ensure sustainability principles are integrated across infrastructure, energy, water, mobility, ecology and quality of life.

Shrivallabh Goyal, CEO & Whole Time Director, Reliance MET City, said, “Achieving LEED Platinum pre-certification for Metropolis by MET City is a testament to our vision and is an integral part of our journey towards building a world-class, future-ready urban ecosystem in India.”

The certification assesses parameters such as natural systems and ecology, land use, transportation, energy performance, water efficiency, materials, and overall livability. Achieving the highest level of pre-certification indicates alignment with global benchmarks in sustainable urban planning.

Located in Village Daryapur on MDR 123, the development is close to the KMP Expressway, AIIMS Badsa, the proposed Haryana Orbital Corridor, and the proposed BCCI international cricket stadium.
