Samarth E-Mobility Unveils Indigenous Full-Stack EV Technology Platform

Samarth E-Mobility has announced the development of a 100 per cent indigenous full-stack electric vehicle technology platform, marking a major milestone in India’s electric mobility landscape. Built entirely in India under the Make in India vision, the platform integrates critical EV components designed and manufactured in-house.

The technology stack includes the battery pack, battery management system (BMS), motor, motor controller, power control module (PCM), DC-DC converter, AI-controlled onboard fast charger with around 1500W charging capacity, instrument cluster and a proprietary operating system. The platform will power the company’s upcoming electric mobility solutions, including its first electric motorcycle.

The company has also achieved key homologation milestones. Its battery pack has been tested and homologated by NATRAX in record time, while the in-house developed BMS has been successfully tested and validated by ICAT. These achievements reflect the company’s focus on developing domestic EV intellectual property while reducing dependence on imported components.

Built on the philosophy of “Advanced Technology. Simplified Design. Premium Experience.”, the platform has been developed over the past three years at the company’s R&D facility in Kalol, Gujarat. The development process involved extensive engineering, testing and validation to ensure seamless hardware-software integration, improved efficiency and enhanced safety for electric two-wheelers designed for Indian riding conditions.

Priyank Rakholiya, Co-founder, Samarth E-Mobility, said, “India’s EV transition demands more than assembly-driven solutions. It requires deep engineering and indigenous innovation. Over the past three years, we have built our entire technology stack in-house—from battery systems and software architecture to motor and power electronics—to create reliable, high-performance electric mobility solutions.”

The technology has undergone rigorous testing, including more than 51,000 km of real-world riding and over 3,400 km of torture testing, ensuring reliability across diverse terrains and climatic conditions. Backed by a 100-member engineering team, the company is also developing rare-earth-free motor technology and a proprietary BMS.

Supporting this ecosystem is the company’s 150,000 sq. ft. manufacturing facility in Chhatral, Gujarat, capable of producing more than 45,000 electric two-wheelers per month and over 5 lakh units annually. Samarth E-Mobility plans to introduce its first electric motorcycle this year, aiming to set new benchmarks for technology-driven, indigenous EV solutions in India.
