He was a seasoned professional with decades of experience across construction, material handling, port, and mining equipment industries.

At Sany India, he played a pivotal role in steering the company’s growth, overseeing business operations across all six key verticals—Hoisting, Foundation, Port, Excavators, Road, and Mining. His strategic insight and operational excellence were instrumental in strengthening SANY’s footprint in India and the broader South Asian market.

Over the course of his distinguished career at SANY, Saxena held several leadership roles, including Director – Heavy Equipment Business and Business Head for the Heavy Equipment division. In these capacities, he successfully led diverse product portfolios such as cranes, piling machinery, port equipment, and road construction machinery, earning the respect of colleagues, partners, and industry peers alike. Before joining SANY, Saxena built a strong foundation through his contributions to organisations such as TIL Limited and BEML Limited, where he further honed his expertise in operations, business development, and sales management.

An engineer by training, Saxena held a B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering along with postgraduate qualifications in marketing management. He also pursued advanced learning in Digital Marketing, Analytics, and AI from the Kellogg School of Management, reflecting his commitment to continuous growth and adaptation in an evolving business landscape. Known for his strategic vision, strong leadership, and unwavering commitment to excellence, Saxena was widely regarded as a guiding force within the industry. His contributions went beyond business success—he inspired teams, nurtured talent, and helped shape the future of the construction equipment sector in India. His passing is a profound loss to the industry.
