Michelin Opens Three New Tyres & Services Stores in Pune

Michelin India has recently expanded its retail footprint in Pune with the launch of three new Michelin Tyres & Services stores in partnership with Darshan Tyres. The new outlets, located in Hadapsar, Camp and Chinchwad, strengthen Michelin’s presence in Maharashtra and aim to improve customer access across key markets in the city.

Spread across 2,500 sq ft, 1,500 sq ft and 2,500 sq ft, respectively, the stores are designed to serve Pune’s growing base of premium vehicle owners. Each outlet offers Michelin’s full range of premium passenger car tyres, along with diagnostic tools and equipment for wheel alignment, balancing, tyre fitting, rotation, repair and replacement services.

Commenting on the expansion, Shantanu Deshpande, Managing Director, Michelin India, said Pune remains one of India’s fastest-growing automotive markets with a strong premium vehicle base. He added that the expansion supports Michelin’s strategy of strengthening its retail footprint in high-potential markets while preparing to introduce made-in-India passenger car tyres for Indian consumers.

The move also builds on Michelin’s long-standing association with Darshan Tyres, which has more than 35 years of presence in Pune’s automotive aftermarket. With 11 stores and two detailing studios, Darshan Tyres continues to bring strong market understanding and service expertise to the partnership.
