Drychem Strengthens Education Infrastructure across 100+ Schools in FY26
Drychem India, through its CSR arm Walplast Welfare Foundation, has strengthened education infrastructure across more than 100 schools during FY 2025-2026, while continuing to expand its community development initiatives across India.
With education and skill development as key focus areas, the company has undertaken multiple interventions aimed at improving the learning environment in government schools and community institutions. The ongoing phase of the initiative is designed to address essential infrastructure gaps and ensure smoother functioning of schools, especially in rural and underserved regions.
The programme has been implemented across Madhya Pradesh (Pandurna, Katni), Maharashtra (Saoner, Palghar), Gujarat (Ankleshwar, Vapi, Vadodara, Chhota Udepur), Tamil Nadu (Perundurai), Rajasthan (Alwar), and Chhattisgarh (Raipur). The company said these regions were selected in alignment with its operational footprint to enable long-term community engagement.
As part of the initiative, Drychem has provided critical infrastructure support such as computers, printers, water coolers, classroom benches, desks, chairs, writing boards, school bags, sanitation facilities, boundary walls, Bluetooth sound systems with microphones, air coolers, lighting solutions, office furniture, water storage units, and learning materials including notebooks and stationery.
The company stated that these interventions are helping enhance classroom experiences, improve access to resources, and create safer learning spaces for students.
The initiative also extends support to tribal schools, gram panchayats and rural healthcare facilities, contributing to broader and inclusive community development.
Commenting on the initiative, Kaushal Mehta, Managing Director, Drychem India Pvt. Ltd., said, “Education has always been central to our philosophy at Drychem, because we believe true nation-building begins in the classroom. Strengthening infrastructure across 100+ schools is not just a milestone for us—it reflects our long-term commitment to creating equitable learning environments…”
Drychem added that its CSR programmes are executed in collaboration with local authorities, school administrations and community stakeholders to ensure effective implementation and long-term sustainability.
Prior to the current phase, Walplast Welfare Foundation also partnered with Project Nanhi Kali for two years, supporting girls’ education and reinforcing its commitment to equitable learning.
Through these continued efforts, Drychem aims to strengthen its role in inclusive growth and nation-building through education.
