Beam Falls at BKC Metro Site, Crane Topples

A major accident was reported recently at a metro construction site in Mumbai’s Bandra Kurla Complex after a heavy beam being lifted onto a pillar fell during the operation, officials said.
The mobile crane being used to hoist the beam also toppled at the site. No casualties have been reported so far. Further details on the incident are awaited.
