Zoomlion Expands Europe Manufacturing Network

Zoomlion Heavy Industry Science & Technology has strengthened its European manufacturing and service network as Phase I of its Hungary MEWP Intelligent Factory begins operations and Phase II of its Germany factory project progresses.
Located in Tatabánya, the Hungary facility will manufacture boom lifts and scissor lifts, supporting faster product delivery across Eastern and Western Europe. The plant is also expected to improve spare parts supply, technical support and service responsiveness while creating local employment opportunities and supplier partnerships.
In Germany, construction of Phase II officially began in March 2025. With an investment of more than EUR 50 million across a 60,000 sq m site, the upgraded former WILBERT TowerCranes GmbH plant will produce tower cranes, truck cranes and concrete machinery.
Zoomlion said the projects reflect its wider strategy of combining global expansion with local production, assembly and after-sales support. The company currently operates 11 overseas R&D and manufacturing bases, along with more than 430 sales and service outlets in over 170 countries and regions. International revenue accounted for 58.56 per cent of total revenue in 2025.
