Hengst Opens Fuel Filter Line in Bengaluru

Hengst Filtration has inaugurated a new fuel filter production line at its Bengaluru facility in the presence of Annet Baesler, Christopher Heine and Sandip Mehta. The development marks a key expansion of the company’s manufacturing capabilities in India.

The company noted that its first oil module production line was designed and built in Münster, while the new fuel filter line has been designed in Germany and manufactured in India, reflecting deeper localisation.

Output from the new line will cater to domestic demand as well as exports to Germany and Brazil, strengthening India’s role in global value chains.

The initiative highlights how India is evolving from a manufacturing destination into a trusted global supply base through competitiveness, partnerships and industrial collaboration.
