Ingersoll Rand sharpens 2026 India growth plan

Ingersoll Rand has outlined its 2026 growth strategy for India, focusing on innovation, customer alignment and expansion in high-growth sectors. The company said it is strengthening its market approach to deliver long-term value for customers, partners and the wider industrial ecosystem.
The company plans to reinforce its dealer network across brands and product lines while investing in partner capability building to improve reach and responsiveness. It is also expanding OEM partnerships with application-specific solutions for sectors such as electronics manufacturing, electric vehicles and advanced industries.
Innovation remains a key priority, with plans to expand the T30 compressor range, adopt high-efficiency IE5 motors and introduce new products under an enlarged portfolio. Ingersoll Rand is also developing low-pressure transport air compressors for mobility and logistics uses.
The company is aligning with India’s growth sectors including electronics, semiconductors, renewable energy, infrastructure, metals and steel. It is also strengthening aftermarket services through digital integration, rentals and service contracts, while expanding oil-free compressed air solutions for industries requiring high air purity such as electronics and pharmaceuticals.
