Schwing Powers Ganga Expressway Construction

The Ganga Expressway, a 594-km corridor connecting Meerut to Prayagraj, has been inaugurated by Narendra Modi, marking a major infrastructure milestone in Uttar Pradesh.

The project involved large-scale engineering, including extensive concrete production, deep foundation pumping, construction of the Ramganga Bridge, and a strategic Indian Air Force emergency airstrip.

Schwing Stetter India supported execution with batching plants, transit mixers and boom pumps, contributing to over 3 million cubic metres of concrete.

Developed by Adani Enterprises Limited and IRB Infrastructure Developers Limited, the project was executed by partners including Larsen & Toubro, H.G. Infra Engineering Limited, Patel Infrastructure Limited, ITD Cementation India Limited and Adycon Infrastructures Private Limited, enhancing regional connectivity and economic growth.
