Syngene Reports FY26 Revenue Rise And Board Changes

Net cash generated during the year was Rs. 5,210 mn after capital expenditure. Operating EBITDA for the year was Rs. 9,180 mn, down from Rs. 10,420 mn in the prior year, reflecting margin pressure. The results excluded a gratuity re-measurement credit of Rs. 200 mn and termination benefits of Rs. 250 mn recognised as exceptional. Management also disclosed an insurance settlement of Rs. 210 mn and an increase in gratuity liabilities of Rs. 380 mn.

The board confirmed several leadership changes. Kiran Mazumdar-Shaw became Executive Chairperson effective April 1, 2026 for a five-year term and Siddharth Mittal will take over as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer effective July 1, 2026 for a five-year term. The board recommended Vijaya Chandru and Arun Chandavarkar as independent directors and reappointed Vinita Bali for one year. Maninder Kapoor Puri and Abhijit Zutshi join as Chief Human Resources Officer and Chief Commercial Officer respectively.
