Eicher Pro X EV Completes K2K Drive in Record Time

Eicher Trucks & Buses has reinforced confidence in electric commercial vehicle adoption through its #XpertHaiTohPossibleHai K2K campaign, with the Eicher Pro X EV becoming the first and fastest electric CV to complete the Kashmir–Kanyakumari journey under fully loaded conditions.

The 4,100-km expedition from Srinagar’s Lal Chowk to Kanyakumari was completed in six days across diverse terrains and climatic conditions, ranging from -2°C to +40°C. The vehicle traversed the Himalayas, plains, ghats and coastal regions while relying entirely on public charging infrastructure accessed through the MyEicher App.

The campaign secured four India Book of Records benchmarks and aimed to demonstrate the real-world operational capability of electric commercial vehicles beyond conventional marketing claims. Eicher collaborated with commercial vehicle influencer Raman Nayak of Behind The Wheels, who documented the journey through a multi-episode video series across digital platforms.

According to VECV, the initiative focused on addressing concerns around EV range, charging infrastructure and operational reliability through proof-led storytelling. The campaign also engaged regional creators along the route to produce hyperlocal content in multiple languages, expanding the reach of the initiative beyond traditional automotive audiences.

The Eicher Pro X EV journey aligns with the Government of India’s Gati Shakti and Net Zero 2070 goals, while highlighting the role of Make-in-India electric commercial vehicles in advancing sustainable logistics solutions.
