Eicher Pro X EV Completes Kashmir–Kanyakumari Run, Sets 4 Records

Eicher Trucks & Buses has launched its proof-led #XpertHaiTohPossibleHai K2K campaign to build confidence in electric commercial vehicles by demonstrating real-world performance of the Eicher Pro X EV. The company said the vehicle became the first and fastest electric commercial vehicle to complete the Kashmir–Kanyakumari journey under fully loaded conditions.

The 4,100-km expedition from Srinagar’s Lal Chowk to Kanyakumari was completed in six days, covering diverse terrains and temperatures ranging from -2°C to 40°C. The campaign also set four benchmarks recognised by the India Book of Records, strengthening Eicher’s positioning around operational reliability, range and charging readiness.

“The K2K milestone is a strong validation of the Eicher Pro X EV’s engineering capability under real-world operating conditions,” said Abhishek Chaudhary, SVP, SCV - Sales & Marketing, VECV. “The initiative not only builds confidence in electric mobility as an economical source of providing logistical solution but also strengthens trust through proof, not promise.”

Eicher executed the campaign through an influencer-led storytelling format, partnering with Raman Nayak (Behind The Wheels), who documented the journey across multiple digital episodes. The trip was independently adjudicated by the India Book of Records, adding third-party validation.

Bhagwan K. Bindiganavile, EVP – Strategic Planning, Brand & Communications, VECV, said the campaign was designed to address customer concerns through real, unfiltered demonstration rather than conventional marketing. He added that the initiative aligns with the company’s “Eicher Nayi Soch, Naye Raaste” philosophy and supports India’s Gati Shakti goals.

During the journey, the Pro X EV used public charging infrastructure accessed through the MyEicher App while navigating highways, ghats, cities and coastal routes, positioning the campaign as a new template for marketing in India’s evolving commercial vehicle segment.
