SECL Reviews Sohagpur Mine Safety

SECL Director (Technical) Operations N Franklin Jayakumar visited Sohagpur Area to review mining operations, safety standards, production performance and statutory compliance.

He inspected Rajendra Underground Mine, Navgaon Closed Mine and Amlai OCM, focusing on productivity, contractor worker safety, underground coal extraction, electrical safety and mine closure progress.

At a review meeting with senior officials, he stressed achieving annual production targets without compromising safety and quality. He also reviewed monsoon preparedness and the status of Environmental Clearance and Forest Clearance compliances, directing officials to ensure timely statutory and environmental compliance.
