Messe Stuttgart Adds Cable & Wire Fair to Strengthen India Presence

"Messe Stuttgart has expanded its India portfolio by adding Cable & Wire Fair and Wire & Cable India magazine, strengthening platforms for the country’s ₹90,000 crore wire and cable sector, expected to reach ₹1,57,500 crore by FY30. Growth is driven by rising housing demand, renewable energy targets, and telecom and infrastructure upgrades.

Roland Bleinroth, CEO, Messe Stuttgart, said: “The addition reflects our commitment to sectors critical to global manufacturing and infrastructure. We see strong potential to further strengthen this platform as a key meeting point for the global wire and cable industry.”

The biennial fair has grown over six editions, with the 2025 event hosting 424 exhibitors and 16,393 visitors, including 89 international participants from 24 countries. The 7th edition is scheduled for 9–11 December 2027 at Yashobhoomi, New Delhi.

Gaurav Sood, CEO & MD, Messe Stuttgart India, added: “Integrating Cable & Wire Fair into Messe Stuttgart’s portfolio builds a future-ready platform reflecting India’s evolving manufacturing ambitions.” Founder Priyank Jain will continue contributing industry insight while leveraging Messe Stuttgart’s global network to scale international reach and strengthen the show’s position as a leading manufacturing platform."
