REC Foundation Launches Mobile Healthcare in Meerut District

REC Foundation, the CSR arm of REC Limited, signed a Memorandum of Agreement with Lala Lajpat Rai Memorial Medical College on 21 May 2026 to provide doorstep primary healthcare to underserved communities in Meerut district, Uttar Pradesh.

The signing was attended by Sh. Arun Govil, MP, Sh. Ramesh Gupta, Principal of LLRM Medical College, and senior REC officials including Sh. TSC Bosh, Director (Projects); Sh. Rajesh Kumar, Director (Finance); Sh. Arun Kumar Tyagi, Executive Director (CSR); and Sh. Bhupesh Chandolia, HOD (CSR).

Under the agreement, REC Foundation will provide Rs 1.20 crore to procure and operate a Mobile Medical Unit for three years. The MMU will deliver essential healthcare services to remote areas, ensuring timely medical assistance for those with limited access.

Through such initiatives, REC Foundation continues to strengthen healthcare infrastructure and promote inclusive development across India.
