PVV Infra Targets 13 NHAI Way Side Amenities Projects

PVV Infra has outlined an accelerated growth strategy focused on National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) Way Side Amenities (WSA), positioning the segment as a key infrastructure vertical for the company.

The company said it has completed bids for three sites, including one on the Gwalior–Jhansi stretch and two near Ujjain. It is also submitting bids for two additional sites on the Delhi–Dehradun corridor.

PVV Infra has further shortlisted eight sites across major highway corridors including Raipur–Vizag, Bengaluru–Chennai, Ujjain–Garoth and Delhi–Dehradun across Andhra Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh. With these additions, the company is evaluating a total of 13 WSA projects.

The company views the WSA segment as a long-term opportunity aligned with India’s expanding highway network, growing freight movement, tourism activity and the shift towards electric mobility.

According to PVV Infra, the proposed developments are planned as integrated traveller-service hubs incorporating fuel stations, EV charging facilities, food courts, quick-service restaurants, truck terminals, healthcare facilities, retail outlets, dormitories, hospitality modules and premium rest zones.

The company also intends to develop supporting infrastructure such as civil works for fuel stations, parking areas, logistics facilities and utility systems. PVV Infra said the WSA model offers diversified revenue opportunities through lease rentals, fuel and charging infrastructure, hospitality operations, retail partnerships and facility management.

The company added that the projects could support partnerships with fuel retailers, EV charging operators, hospitality brands, food and beverage chains and logistics service providers to develop integrated highway service destinations.
