K2 Infragen Bags Rs 569.1 mn RVPN Orders

K2 Infragen Ltd has secured two letters of award from Rajasthan Rajya Vidyut Prasaran Nigam Ltd (RVPN) worth Rs 569.1 million, strengthening its position in India’s power transmission sector.

The projects include construction of a new 132/33 kV grid substation at Mukundgarh in Jhunjhunu district, along with associated lines and 132 kV bays, valued at Rs 298.5 million. The company will also develop 220 kV and 132 kV transmission lines linked to the 220 kV grid substation at Seruna in Bikaner district, valued at Rs 270.6 million. Both projects are expected to be completed within 15 months.

Since December 2025, K2 Infragen has secured new orders worth Rs 4.12 billion across energy, transmission and distribution, railway and renewable infrastructure projects. The company has also bid for tenders worth around Rs 5.8 billion in the roads and railways sectors.

Pankaj Sharma, Founder and Managing Director, K2 Infragen, said the company is expanding its geographical presence through direct transmission and distribution orders in Rajasthan and Karnataka, while strengthening revenue visibility. He added that the company aims to explore tariff-based competitive bidding to build annuity revenues through government assets.

Founded in 2015, K2 Infragen operates across roads, railways, power transmission and distribution, civil construction, water infrastructure and renewable energy. Its clients include North Western Railways, RVPN, Karnataka Power Transmission Corporation, NHAI, Hindustan Copper, L&T, Tata and MP Birla Group.

The company has operations across Rajasthan, Karnataka, Gujarat, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Odisha, Bihar, Haryana and Delhi NCR. Its recent orders reinforce its focus on quality execution, timely delivery and long-term participation in India’s infrastructure growth.
