Atlas Copco Expands Reman Compressor Solutions
2026-05-27
Atlas Copco has strengthened its lifecycle solutions portfolio with the Reman Program under the RePower Centre within its Power Technique Customer Centre. The OEM-certified remanufacturing solution restores compressors to original factory specifications, helping customers improve efficiency, uptime and long-term asset value.
The programme supports sectors including automotive, pharmaceuticals, FMCG, textiles, cement, steel, infrastructure and general manufacturing, where reliability and operational continuity are critical. It enables customers to restore equipment performance without complete replacement, offering a cost-efficient and sustainable alternative.
Under a factory-controlled process, compressors are disassembled, inspected and restored using genuine components. Key systems such as air ends, drive interfaces, cooling assemblies and controller modules are recalibrated to OEM specifications, followed by airflow, pressure, safety and performance checks.
Prasanna Kulkarni, General Manager – Power Technique Customer Center, India, Atlas Copco, said the programme helps customers maximise asset value, enhance reliability, extend equipment life and support long-term productivity.
The initiative strengthens Atlas Copco’s focus on efficient lifecycle management by reducing disruption, improving asset utilisation and supporting more sustainable industrial operations.
