Aurotoshi Launches Indigenous Platform Screen Door System

Aurotoshi, an Aurionpro Group company, participated in the 6th edition of InnoMetro 2026 at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, on 21 and 22 May 2026. Led by Executive Director Siddhant Sachdev, the company’s booth at Hall 4 showcased its indigenous transit technology portfolio and drew strong interest from metro authorities, procurement heads and transit consultants.

The key highlight was the launch of Aurotoshi’s Half-Height Platform Screen Door system, described as the first Make in India prototype of its kind. The system is currently under SIL2 certification and is designed to align with train doors, reopen automatically in case of obstruction and support SIL4 integration between signalling and platform screen doors. The assembly includes fixed panels, automatic sliding gates and emergency exit doors.

The launch follows Aurotoshi’s April 2026 milestone, when it commissioned Platform Screen Gates at Mumbai Metro Line 2B as a sub-contractor to Zhuzhou CRRC Times Electric Co., Ltd. The project marked the company’s entry into the platform screen door segment as both an installation partner and manufacturer.

Aurotoshi also demonstrated three smart transit products, including a wall-mounted cashless ticket vending machine, flap gates and swing gates. The systems support UPI, QR, National Common Mobility Card and closed-loop protocols. The company said its automatic fare collection gate system has crossed 80 per cent indigenisation at its Ghaziabad plants.

Managing Director Sanjeev Sachdev chaired the InnoMetro 2026 conference and highlighted the role of micro, small and medium enterprises in India’s infrastructure development. He called for procurement systems that balance quality with price and greater collaboration among Indian original equipment manufacturers.

Aurotoshi, established in 1992, operates across industrial automation, public safety automation, and travel and mobility. The company runs three manufacturing units in Ghaziabad and plans to launch a smart plant in Aligarh in 2026.
