Haryana Approves Metro Land Purchase Policy For NCRTC Projects

The policy sets out procedures for the purchase of privately held land required for projects implemented by the corporation and seeks to balance timely delivery with safeguards for landowners. It establishes a framework for the identification of required parcels, verification of titles and concerted action to remove encumbrances so that project schedules are not hampered by protracted disputes.

The National Capital Region Transport Corporation, which is responsible for implementing regional rapid transit and related corridor projects across the National Capital Region, will work with the state under the new arrangement.
