AFC Furniture Solutions Targets Pune and Nagpur Expansion

AFC Furniture Solutions has announced its expansion into Maharashtra's key commercial hubs, targeting Pune's technology corridors and Nagpur's Multi-modal International Cargo Hub and Airport (MIHAN) as part of its western India growth strategy.

The company expects western India to contribute 25–30 per cent of its revenue, supported by demand from over 900 companies across Hinjewadi's Special Economic Zone (SEZ) and non-SEZ locations, as well as businesses in the MIHAN region. According to Cushman & Wakefield, Global Capability Centres (GCCs) accounted for 69 per cent of Pune's office leasing in Q1 2026, with demand concentrated in Hinjewadi, Kharadi and Baner.

“The Maharashtra GCC Policy 2025 was the clearest signal yet of the state's investment plans and industrial growth,” said Maanoj Tomar, Founder, AFC Furniture Solutions. “The policy has put institutional momentum behind markets that AFC had already identified as the next wave.”

AFC has previously completed projects for clients including Trilegal, Emirates, Tata Capital, WNS, HDFC, ICICI Bank, IDFC Bank and NPCI in Maharashtra. The company plans to strengthen its presence through project acquisitions, design consultancy and partnerships with developers and architects.

Its 400,000 sq ft IGBC Gold-rated manufacturing facility in Noida produces more than 18,000 workstations and ergonomic seating systems each month. The company said its experience in delivering large-scale, ESG-compliant office fit-outs positions it to cater to the growing requirements of GCCs and industrial occupiers in Maharashtra.

The expansion aligns with the Maharashtra GCC Policy 2025, which aims to establish 400 new GCCs, generate 400,000 high-skilled jobs and attract Rs 506 billion in investments by FY2030.
