Ingersoll Rand India Names Sunil Khanduja as Chairman

Ingersoll Rand (India) has appointed Sunil Khanduja, Managing Director, as the new Chairman of the Board. The appointment marks a new phase in the company’s growth journey, with a focus on innovation, operational excellence and customer-centric industrial solutions.

Sunil succeeds Sekhar Natarajan, who has completed his ten-year tenure as Independent Director. The company acknowledged Natarajan’s leadership and contribution towards strengthening corporate governance and supporting Ingersoll Rand India’s development over the years.

As Managing Director, Sunil has played a key role in shaping the company’s growth strategy, enhancing operational performance and building a strong organisational culture. His elevation to Chairman reflects the company’s confidence in his leadership as it continues to expand its presence across India and the wider region.

Commenting on his appointment, Sunil Khanduja, Chairman and Managing Director, Ingersoll Rand India Limited, said, “I am honoured to take on the role of Chairman at Ingersoll Rand India. Sunil joined Ingersoll Rand in 2013 and has held leadership roles across operations, supply chain and business management. With more than 25 years of global industry experience, he brings expertise in business transformation, operational excellence and sustainable growth.

A Mechanical Engineering graduate, Sunil also holds dual MBA degrees from the Kelley School of Business, USA, and Manchester Business School, UK.

Under his leadership, Ingersoll Rand India will continue to focus on delivering advanced industrial solutions, expanding its manufacturing capabilities, enhancing customer value and supporting India’s industrial growth and sustainability goals.
