NOCIL Profit Rises 61% in Q1FY27, Revenue Up 20%

NOCIL, India’s largest manufacturer of rubber chemicals, has reported a strong performance for the first quarter of FY27, with revenue from operations rising 20% year-on-year to Rs 4.03 billion.

The company’s net profit increased 61% to Rs 280 million, while EBITDA margin expanded to 11.2%, improving by 210 basis points compared to the previous year. The growth was supported by improved operating efficiency and inventory gains.

NOCIL recorded a 9% year-on-year increase in volumes, driven by strong domestic demand following the implementation of GST 2.0 and continued growth in its export pipeline.

The company has announced an additional Rs 1.30 billion brownfield capital expenditure programme at its Dahej facility to expand capacity for high-utilisation rubber chemical products through an integrated, backward-integrated facility.

This investment is in addition to the Rs 2.50 billion capex programme already underway at Dahej, which has entered the trial production stage. The new expansion is targeted for completion by H1FY28 and will be funded largely through internal accruals.

Commenting on the results, V.S. Anand, Managing Director, NOCIL, said the company’s performance reflects consistent execution across domestic and export businesses, while the expanded investment at Dahej will support capacity augmentation, backward integration and long-term competitiveness.
