IRCON bags NCRTC order worth Rs 7.23 bn

The National Capital Region Transport Corporation Limited (NCRTC) offered a work order of Rs 7.23 billion to Ircon International on Monday.

The first order that was issued includes the design, supply, installation and testing of receiving substations as well as associated works. It is primarily for viaducts and tunnels that will pass through Sarai Kale Khan to Duhai (EPE). This also includes Jangpura Stabling Yard and the Duhai Depot.

Additionally, it includes the SCDA system for a complete corridor of Delhi-Ghaziabad to Meerut RRTS corridor of NCRTC. The contract was accepted for approximately Rs 3.18 billion. Moreover, the tenure for the execution of the work has been decided as 50 months.

The next order includes the work on viaduct and tunnel that starts from Duhai (EPE to Modipuram). Its work includes the designing, supply, installation and testing of the above-mentioned routes. This includes Modipuram Depot for Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut RRTS corridor of NCRTC. The accepted contract is of an approximate Rs 4.05 billion. The tenure for the execution of the work has been decided as 54 months.

Ircon International is a state-owned PSU that is primarily into the engineering and construction sector.
