Construction begins on Kompally NH extension

After much anticipation, the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has finally started construction on the Kompally Highway (NH 44), one of the largest road development projects undertaken.

The NHAI's construction will provide a great deal of respite to drivers because traffic from Suchitra Circle to Dulapally X Roads has been getting worse every day. As a result of Kompally's development into a major business hub and its location on the Hyderabad-Nagpur Highway, the current road system is unable to handle the rising traffic.

The NHAI has agreed to widen the route for a 10-kilometre section between Suchitra and Kompally junction in order to remedy issue. It is an important infrastructure project for NHAI in Hyderabad since it will improve traffic flow to Medchal, Kamareddy, and Nizamabad.
