Assam Secretariat Goes Solar, Seeks EOI

Assam is taking a significant step towards sustainable energy by inviting Expressions of Interest (EOI) for the solarisation of its secretariat. The initiative aligns with the state's commitment to harnessing clean and renewable energy sources for government facilities.

The call for EOI indicates the state's proactive approach to adopting solar power solutions to meet energy needs efficiently. By focusing on the solarisation of the secretariat, Assam aims to reduce its carbon footprint, contribute to environmental conservation, and set an example for sustainable energy adoption.

The move is part of Assam's broader strategy to promote solar energy infrastructure and incorporate green practices into government operations. The secretariat, being a crucial administrative hub, transitioning to solar power sends a positive signal towards the integration of renewable energy solutions in public institutions.

Assam's decision to solicit EOIs underscores its intention to engage with industry experts and leverage their insights to implement an effective and tailored solarisation plan. This collaborative approach is likely to enhance the success and sustainability of the solar project, making strides towards a greener and more energy-efficient government infrastructure in the state.
