CASE India Appoints Sachin Tare as Manufacturing Director

CASE Construction Equipment, a CNH brand, has appointed Sachin Tare as Director – Manufacturing to lead operations at its Pithampur facility near Indore, Madhya Pradesh.

In his new role, Tare will focus on improving operational efficiency, quality and productivity while supporting CASE India’s growth across domestic and international markets.

Tare has more than three decades of experience in manufacturing, supply chain management, operations and business transformation within the engineering and automotive sectors. He spent nearly 30 years at Mahindra & Mahindra, holding leadership positions across procurement, logistics, supply chain and manufacturing.

Before joining CASE India, he served as Assistant Vice President – Operations at BirlaNu Ltd, formerly known as HIL Ltd. During his career, he has led manufacturing transformation programmes, capacity expansion projects, greenfield developments and new product industrialisation initiatives.

The Pithampur manufacturing facility has supported CASE India’s operations for more than three decades. It serves as the company’s manufacturing hub for the Asia-Pacific region and produces Made-in-India construction equipment for domestic customers and export markets across more than 100 countries.

Commenting on his appointment, Tare said India’s construction equipment industry was gaining momentum due to infrastructure-led growth. He added that his focus would be on strengthening manufacturing excellence and delivering equipment engineered in India for domestic and global markets.

CASE has operated in India since 1989. The company maintains a strong position in the vibratory compactor segment and continues to expand its presence in the backhoe loader market through product innovation and customer-focused solutions.

Equipment manufactured at the Pithampur plant supports CASE’s domestic and global operations, strengthening India’s role in the company’s international manufacturing strategy.
