Bengaluru Civic Body Chases Rs.7.111 Bn in Unpaid Property Taxes
The Bengaluru civic body is actively pursuing unpaid property taxes amounting to ?7.11 billion from more than 3.60 lakh properties across the city. This massive sum reflects a substantial accumulation of outstanding dues owed to the municipal authorities.
According to recent reports, despite repeated reminders and notices, a large number of property owners have yet to settle their tax obligations. This delay has prompted intensified efforts by the civic body to recover these funds, crucial for sustaining urban infrastructure and service provisions.
