Waaree Renewable Technologies, a leading player in the renewable energy sector, announced that it had successfully secured a significant order worth Rs 12.33 billion. The order involves the establishment of a ground-mounted solar photovoltaic (PV) project, which will have a total capacity of 2,012.47 MWp DC. The project will be a key development in the company's expanding portfolio of solar energy projects.

The order was awarded by a domestic company that is actively engaged in the development and implementation of renewable energy solutions in India. The announcement was made through a filing submitted to the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), highlighting the importance of the contract for both Waaree and the broader renewable energy industry.

In the filing, it was also disclosed that the total value of the order, excluding taxes, stands at approximately Rs 12.33 billion.
