The Rising Rajasthan Global Investment Summit 2024 highlighted the sector’s potential, with 1,320 MOUs worth Rs 969.67 billion signed, promising over 2 lakh jobs in hospitality, wellness, and heritage conservation. An allocation of Rs 50 billion this year supports restoring historical landmarks, infrastructure development, and attracting global investors through streamlined processes like single-window clearances.
Major events such as the Great Indian Travel Bazaar and Rajasthan Domestic Travel Mart have strengthened domestic and international tourism. Initiatives like Cultural Diaries and Wed-In Expo have further cemented Rajasthan’s reputation as a cultural and wedding destination.
The IIFA Awards 2025, to be held in Jaipur from 7-9 March, will enhance the state’s global appeal by showcasing its art, culture, and potential for film tourism. Religious tourism also remains a priority, with recent developments at Sanwaliya Seth Temple and Karni Mata Temple receiving government attention.
To ensure safety for tourists, particularly women and solo travellers, Rajasthan introduced the Tourist Assistance Force in early 2024. Additionally, skill development initiatives aim to train 20,000 youth and artisans in arts, guiding, and hospitality, with over 470 individuals already benefiting.
Blending tradition, culture, and innovation, Rajasthan is poised to lead global tourism while preserving its rich heritage and promoting sustainable practices.
